EM118089 EM118090 EM118091 is a single phase 2 wire MID-approved EV charger energy meter and solar bi-directional meters. These Digital electricity meter which can be used on 1 phase with a max of 16/32/45/63/80/100 ampere. The KWH meter is MID B+D-certified. It supports bi-directional metering, The total energy usage can be calculated via different calculation modes. All forward (import) and reverse (export) (re)active energy values are stored in different meter registers. It's also suitable for government bidding, as it can meet both EMC,LVD and MID, some east-asia countries already adopts this type of small energy meter.

What's the benefits of EMC LVD energy meter?

EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and LVD (Low Voltage Directive) compliant energy meters are in high demand for several crucial reasons, primarily related to safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

1. Safety and Protection:

LVD Compliance:

The LVD ensures that electrical equipment operating within certain voltage limits is safe for users. This is paramount for energy meters, as they handle electrical currents.

It minimizes the risk of electric shock, fire hazards, and other safety issues.

EMC Compliance:

EMC compliance ensures that the energy meter neither generates excessive electromagnetic interference (EMI) that could disrupt other electronic devices nor is susceptible to EMI from other sources.

This is vital for preventing malfunctions, data corruption, and inaccurate readings, which can have significant consequences in billing and energy management.

2. Reliability and Accuracy:

Reduced Interference:

EMC compliant meters are designed to operate reliably in environments with electromagnetic noise, ensuring consistent and accurate measurements.

This is especially important in industrial settings and areas with high concentrations of electronic devices.

Stable Operation:

Compliance with EMC and LVD standards contributes to the overall stability and longevity of the energy meter.

3. Regulatory Compliance and Market Access:

Legal Requirements:

In many regions, including the European Union, EMC and LVD compliance are mandatory for electrical equipment, including energy meters.

Manufacturers must demonstrate compliance to obtain CE marking and gain access to these markets.

Customer Trust:

Customers, especially in commercial and industrial sectors, prioritize products that adhere to recognized safety and quality standards.

EMC and LVD compliance provides assurance of product safety and reliability.

4. Preventing Disruptions:

Grid Stability:

Energy meters are integral to grid management. EMC compliance helps prevent interference that could disrupt grid operations.

Device Compatibility:

In smart home and industrial automation systems, energy meters must coexist with other electronic devices. EMC compliance ensures compatibility and prevents interference.
